# How to make an event-wide announcement

To make an event-wide announcement, go to the event admin page, then go to the \*\*Details section\*\*, and then go to the \*\*Announcement tab.\*\*  Here, you’ll see a box where you can make an announcement:

When you make an announcement here, everyone in the event will see a pop up that looks like this:

**Attendees will only see the last announcement, and once they mark an announcement as seen, attendees will not see that announcement again.**

NOTE: If an attendee shows up late to the event, they will see the latest announcement made when they first enter the event.
